Taylor's decided to launch a limited edition of a 50-year-old Single Harvest Port wine every year. The fifth release in this series is the 1968 Taylor's Single Harvest.
Deep brown color, surrounded by a broad amber rim
The palate is round, concentrated and full of nuts and caramel. Supporting the dense and smooth texture is a very well integrated acidity that provides an attractive vivacity that persists into a very long aftertaste.
An opulent, intense and powerful nose of pound cake, with all the elements in perfect harmony. In a base with intense notes of raisins and toffee, which mix with delicious vanilla, aromas of walnut, marzipan and spicy notes of black pepper.
